Community artwork
Your work
stays yours.
This policy covers artwork voluntarily offered for display in the Hearthlight Tavern. It does not transfer ownership of your art or grant commercial rights to Sprinks Writes.
You retain your artwork
You keep the copyright and ownership of original artwork you create. You must be at least 16 and must only submit work you created or are authorised to share.
A narrow permission to display
By submitting, you grant Joshua Sprinks a non-exclusive, royalty-free permission to review, store and display the piece on Sprinks Writes and to identify it using your chosen display name. This permission does not allow the artwork to be sold, placed on merchandise, used as official book artwork or licensed commercially without a separate written agreement with you.
Elendor is a world to share
Readers are warmly invited to imagine within Elendor—to create their own characters, short stories, artwork, maps and other fan work for enjoyment and community sharing. Elendor and its established characters, settings, names, stories and sigils remain protected intellectual property, but that is not intended to shut the door on non-commercial creativity.
The important boundary is commercial use. Fan work may not be sold, licensed, minted, placed on merchandise or otherwise used to make money without first agreeing permission with Joshua in writing. If you have a commercial idea, please get in touch; the answer is not automatically no, but it does need to be a conversation.
Review, credit and removal
Nothing is published automatically. Joshua may decline or remove a submission, including work that infringes rights, misrepresents the books, contains prohibited material or creates a safety concern. You can request removal or a credit correction at joshuasprinks@gmail.com.
Personal information connected with a submission is handled under the privacy notice.
